American Pancakes
  1. Add the oil to the dry mix first, then pour the milk in slowly adding enough for the correct thickness of pancakes required, beat with a spoon or machine paddle for 3-4 minutes. A thinner mix will make more crepe style of pancakes and thicker will make American style.
  2. Heat a nonstick fry pan or griddle, spoon the mixture to the desired size and cook evenly on both sides, serve with your favourite toppings, we used crispy bacon & maple syrup, you can use berries, compote, jams or curds instead and finish with whipped vanilla cream.
